Observer log

Today's Observation Log

All entries were made by the night observer. Illegible sections usually mean he fell asleep.

  1. Moon appeared. Highly similar to yesterday's; provisionally classified as the same Moon.

  2. Bright reflection detected. Not cheese—the observatory window needs cleaning.

  3. Three short signals received. Later traced to a researcher's tail hitting the telegraph key.

  4. Cardboard rocket completed wind-tunnel testing. Wind supplied by desk fan. Results: Very promising.

  5. Moon remains. Team unanimously agrees to rest and confirm again tomorrow.
